« We found this apartment at the last minute of our New River Gorge National Park trip planning. It turned out a hidden gem to us. The apartment is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood of Oak Hill, a perfect home base to visit New River Gorge and other state parks in the area. « It was fine for one night. The floors are wonky & slanted so it’s off putting. It’s right next to a main road & the windows or insulation must be old because it was very noisy because of the cars. »

« Our stay at Lafayette Flats was great! Amy and Shawn were wonderful hosts. They sent us all the info we needed before check-in and followed up on us during the trip to make sure things were going well and if we needed anything. « This was a perfect spot 30 min from the NRG. The hosts were very active in responding. The spot was easy to find and close to some WV must stops like Tudors! We had our pup with us and she had the best time! »

« The photos, description, and reviews were misleading. This place was not pet friendly! Not a pleasant drive into the neighborhood and it was hard to access. If you have anything larger than a small sedan and are arriving at night, not a good choice.
