« The loveliest place to unwind and relax. In fact, that’s all we did! The view of Desoto Falls from the screened porch was spectacular as was the sound of the rain hitting the metal roof. Mentone is a beautiful little village with the perfect market and outstanding restaurants. Our host could not have been more welcoming. We can’t wait to get back! »

« Before you book, this is an older cabin, so be aware and don’t judge it for being older. It’s cozy and comfortable. Of course it needs some fixing here and there, but what doesn’t? Mainly the bathroom, but it functions as it should. The air conditioning works very well!! The cabin is right on the water. If you have a boat trailer it’s harder to maneuver in and out of the driveway, but it can be done. There’s a washer and dryer if needed. Plus internet and all the different apps for...

« The whole house looked and smelled so clean. Lots of extra bedding provided, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The hosts and property were delightful. Everything about the trip was simple, easy, and relaxed. »

« An excellent place to spend our anniversary long weekend. The cottage was immaculte. The host supplied everthing we needed for our stay. We would recommend this property to anyone. 5 stars! »

« This treehouse is tucked away in the shade along the edge of a beautiful stretch of walnut trees. Quiet and peaceful. Plenty of room for 2 people, and has a great layout that is bigger in person.We spent our days hiking nearby and the evenings watching the lightning bugs. They have the sweetest barn cat we met by the silo. We hope to stay again! »

Beautiful sunsets behind the mountains on the front porch and morning coffee on the lovely screened in back porch. We look forward to coming back next year! »

« Open design with elements of mid century and modern day mixed. I like older homes for their lived in feel. The furnishings in the bed rooms and the vintage paint by number paintings are my favorite. I’ll definitely stay there again. The deck on the back of the house provides a great view off the brow. »

« A perfect getaway, beautiful lake view. The host is AMAZING!! Definitely goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and welcoming. Loved waking up with a cup of coffee on the screened in patio just watching the birds! Very relaxing and such a peaceful area. We will definitely be back! »
