« Upon arrival, I noticed the carpet had recently been vacuumed which was nice. The WiFi worked great, and I enjoyed the benefit of having access to a TV with cable in the bedroom. There was hand soap, and even shampoo in the shower if I needed it. The window AC unit in the bedroom worked just fine. « The Carriage House is a charming little flat in a great location. The space was nicely furnished, and the AC was much appreciated with the heat and humidity of summer. Public transportation was easily accessible (bus/subway/ride share), and there were plenty of shops and a huge variety of eateries in the neighborhood. « My friends and I had an excellent stay at this property, it was the perfect size for 3 adults and very quaint and private. I will say that the listing says that it is 8.8 miles from Leesburg VA (which is where my friends and I were visiting) but that is not entirely accurate- there IS a ferry you can take across that maybe makes that number true but if you are an out of towner and are planning on just driving GPS style it ACTUALLY takes about 25-30 minutes to drive into town. « The house was clean and the HUGE TV was one of the kids favorites of the house. Everything you need is at your fingertips. Plenty paper products, cleaning products, coffee products. The house is located near shopping, eating, within walking distance to the museums. We actually walked back from the museums one day. « We came up to watch our grandson play for the Bowie Baysox, a Nationals game, an Orioles game and to tour DC. This place was perfect About a half an hour from Baltimore and DC and about ten minutes from the Bowie park. Clean and safe neighborhood. We met the owners one day and they couldn’t have been nicer. Great trip and we highly recommend this place. »
