« We liked the kayaks . Decent trails close by. Planetarium close by . Good fishing nearby. They allow pets. Charcoal grill. This was our second stay at this property. We like to visit with our Daughter and granddaughter here. »

« My husband, daughter, granddaughter and I stayed three nights at this beautiful house. It was very clean with comfortable beds and furniture. It was well-stocked having everything we needed. We enjoyed visiting the area around Paris. The owner was very quick to reply and we appreciated her generosity and kindness. »

« Always a good stay here. Spacious, clean, great location, everything you need to feel comfortable. We especially like the country feel and enjoyed the cows and sheep grazing on the larger road leading to the property. Host always communicates quickly too. »

« When an issue arose with propane running out and only having electric fireplace for heat, reached out to host with no reply. Had to close doors to all rooms and sleep on couches in living room the second night. Not what we signed up for! »

« Vince and Pat were wonderful—thank you for the homemade bread upon our arrival! The place was so clean and comfortable but the best thing by far was the view of the lake! We watched pelicans and Eagles fishing as we sat on the deck! (I’ll add photos when I get home.). We were able to explore Land Between the Lakes and spend time in Nashville—both were enjoyable drives with lots of opportunities to see nature. The golf cart rental wea great, too. « We had such a wonderful stay at Heron Hideaway! Wow, that View! Even better than we expected…from every room upstairs, it was panoramic beauty! And the lake access… was easy and appears to be brand new stairs and dock.
