« We loved staying at this house. It had enough room for our family. We enjoyed the history of the house but also the added modern conveniences. The location was great as well. It was easy to see the historical sites, take a break at the house, and then continue with the sight seeing. »

« The Grand Victorian is AMAZING!! The house is gorgeous and beautifully decorated. Everything was there that we needed, the area was peaceful and easy to access. Highly recommend staying here! »

« Wonderful Property. Close to Nauvoo and activities. Clean and well maintained! Beautiful location. The kids loved the pool which was clean and well kept. »

« Second time staying here, no complaints. Allowed to park boats in grass next to the side of the house. Works great for fishing tournaments on pool 19. »

« We had a wonderful anniversary trip to Nauvoo. The historic and quaint Mix House added some period charm to our stay. While the house retains much of its 19th century charm, it has the modern conveniences needed for a relaxing stay. It may have been the off season, but food and meal choices were limited in Nauvoo itself. We were grateful for the items we ordered from The Apron Bake Shoppe. »

« I loved it! We were greeted by the host and their dog (who’s friendly as ever!) upon arrival and everything went perfectly smooth from there. The blankets were honestly the best part, LOL! We were all obsessed! Perfect little spot to stay right off the highway in a quiet neighborhood. Will definitely consider it again in the future if I need somewhere to stay near here again! »

« We loved the Nauvoo Windmill Farmhouse!! We arrived late at night and got in with the code. It was clean, roomy and close to Nauvoo. We didn't worry about the kids being noisy as we played games and had fun together as there were no other houses around...just fields. We ordered food from Walmart and they delivered to our door. We will definitely stay there again!! »
