If you're seeking a place to get away from it all, might I boldly suggest this is it. Tucked away north of the Bungle Bungle you used to be able to get flights over it. However, there's a new small group tour that will fly over it I believe. I drove some of the way there to capture these shots but it's not the sort of road I would recommend, even though I was in my motorhome. Still, it's unique and I'm pleased I made the effort.

The Bungle Bungles in the Purnululu National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The geology of the Bugle Bungles consits of sandstone domes. The layers of the sandstone domes have red and grey colours. It's a stunning landscape and you can easily spend a few days hiking and exploring this place.

At around noon, the sund is shining into the very narrow chasm. It's a magical place and if you can be there for the moment when the sund touches the ground it's phantastc experience.
