« It was the perfect place to take my dog, who has a lot of anxiety issues with fireworks. There were no fireworks, and it was a nice 80 degrees. We had a relaxing 4th of July weekend. There was a fenced-off dog run for the dog to do her business. Our only issue was that we weren't emailed a code to get in (that I could find), but our host responded immediately and got us right in. « We were looking for a pet friendly property. The guest quarters accommodated us well. The location was convenient, and allowed us to walk everywhere we wanted to. The only recommendation I would give would be to upgrade the mattresses and couch. The mattresses were not comfortable, and the couch was very used and worn out. Also, putting screens on the windows would allow the cool mountain air to flow without the bugs. There was only one window with a worn out screen. »

« Beds uncomfortable. Front entry was covered with leaves and debris and front porch picnic table and grill were filthy. Not welcoming at all. Fireplace had only a few pieces of wood so we could not use it. All mattresses were old and need replacing. The thermostat was erratic and difficult to maintain accurate temperature. Apparently the owner has not upgraded or made an effort to make the cabin fresher or more welcoming, Basically take the money and run attitude. »

« Quiet, peaceful and away from town. Presence of elk and wildlife was so enjoyable. Cabin was clean and suitable for us as a couple and would work great for a family. Great shower. However, the Kitchen lacked a working oven, the refrigerator froze all our produce, and some of the pots, pans and especially cookie sheet were not very clean, or some were old with peeling teflon All in all, a very nice stay for us. »
