« The place was fabulous! We felt right at home. Kate's cookies and brownies greeted us. After a 7 5 hour drive through construction alley, we were able to chill in her most serene backyard. We enjoyed all of the comforts of home. Kate was quick to answer when we lost our code to get in.We had a graduation at UW on Saturday, We returned to a quiet evening in the backyard with the dogs. « The house was clean, spacious, and filled with light, with lots of windows looking out on acres of woods and hay and corn fields. Located on a dead end road, there was no traffic noise and no lights visible at night. We enjoyed hiking on the Ice Age Trail nearby, biking on the Badger State Trail, swimming at the Verona High School Aquatic Center. and picking strawberries, as well as going into Madison for some great Thai food. « This rental made for the perfect group weekend getaway. From the great shuffleboard table to the vintage arcade games like NBA Jam, this place was on fire! The beautiful view of the wide river from the hot tub was so tranquil a member of our group asked what lake we were on.
