« Stayed here for 2 nights in July with family. Positives: Gorgeous setting. Swiss-like esthetics. Loved that you could walk to the trails and not worry about finding parking before beginning our hike(s). Ate at the lounge restaurant and it was very good. Also thrilled to have a coffee shop, snack shop available. « Apgar has a casual, almost campground feel to it that I really loved. The lake and the views were breathtaking. We had plenty of room to sleep all 5 of us—our only issue was 1 bathroom and little space to get ready for the day. There were a couple of days that were rather warm reaching 90 degree temps but mornings and evenings were cool enough that the room was okay for sleeping without AC. « The room was ok. The sheets were clean but blankets and bedspreads had old cigarettes holes. The bath towels were new. The public areas were sad and worn. I got locked out of my room in the morning and there was no one around to help me. »
