« The accommodations were very large, clean and comfortable...the setting was beautiful! The only downside was that it was not very well insulated for sound...so footsteps and conversations from upstairs were "loud & clear"! »

« Everything was amazing. Host were so kind. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their home was beautiful and location was great. We enjoyed kayaking and the canoe too. Listening to the loons and seeing otters were our highlights. Great hikes in the area. The Hike to castle rock for an aerial view of the lake was amazing. Our dogs loved it too. Can’t wait to stay again. Truly 5 stars »

« This adorable cottage is close to town with peaceful views. You can walk to the Hampton Inn ski shuttle stop in about five minutes along a quiet road/alley which is mostly flat, that runs behind the cottage. The parking space for this cottage is on this road too. The shuttle is free, on time, and runs frequently. The view out of the back of the cottage is wooded and gorgeous when covered in snow. « This property is not as represented by the host. The two lakeside decks pictured in the cover photo DO NOT EXIST. Our group had planned on spending significant time down at the water with the kids and with just a tiny dock available that wasn't available. In addition to the property being misrepresented the overall condition is in disrepair. The 2nd floor deck railing is very loose and a hazard. Boards are buckled and lifting. « We stayed here for a perfect fall getaway. A little hard to find in the dark, so I'd recommend getting there before dark. Other than that it was in a peaceful setting, quiet out of the way place we'd definitely stay at again. »
