« It was a great weekend stay, relatively clean and accommodating. We loved the uniqueness and the history behind the home. My only complaint was only 2 burners on the stove worked, and even those were a struggle to use. No TV’s in the bedrooms. And the silverware was dirty and we had to wash it all before we could use it. So very minor fixable complaints. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we would love to come back some time! »

« There were significant shortcomings for which we requested a partial refund - but have heard nothing, not even an apology. The gas fireplace, which was a crucial part of our decision to rent this property, was not functional. One double bed had no sheets at all, the other had only a bottom sheet, requiring the sleeper to use the blanket as a top sheet. The host's "solution" was to have the housekeeper hang a bag with a sheet on the front door handle the next day. There were minor omissions...
