« The property was oversold online to make it look like it had a view of the nearby canal, but it didn't. While I understand the house was 170 years old, it felt like it could fall apart with a false move. The main floor had several chairs, but no couch. The stairs to the top floor were very narrow and you had to be careful going up and down. « This is our third year staying at the cabin. Our WOW (Women Only Weekend) was a great time! Roxanne (the cleaning person) does an excellent job having the cabin clean and tidy for our arrival. We love the secluded location and providing firewood is an added ammenity. Thanks for your hospitality.... we will be returning. »

« We had a very good experience. 7 of us in our group. Everyone was very comfortable in their rooms, plenty of room for everyone to move around comfortably. Only wish weather had cooperated more and we could have used the firepit for S'Mores! Pool table was a hit! Thank you for welcoming snacks! Such a Great added bonus! We would definitely come back! »

« The property was overall excellent. A problem for seniors are the steps to get into the property and to get upstairs. The bannisters are very low befitting a house built in the later 19th century. No grab bar in the upstairs bath/shower and tall bath. Don’t get me wrong. It’s a lovely, clean, spacious house. Great owners. The only problem for seventy something’s are the stairs. »

« The Culp House was perfect for our weekend getaway with the family. It was a great location, being one block from the battlefield and walking distance to downtown. The house itself was huge, with lots of character, and clean. We would definitely stay here again! »
