« Well... It is a peaceful quiet getaway. Check in easy. Communication excellent. Inside of the house was pet friendly. But if you hope to romp and play with dogs on the property forget it. Rusty jagged barbed wire, debris, piles of scrap metal scattered everywhere. Our leashed dogs felt like they were on lockdown Yes there is a beautiful brook running through the property, but first you have to walk past the scum covered stagnant pond that's right off of the back porch. And oh my God, the flies....

« As described. Sharing a few comments which might help others. It dipped to 34 degrees at night and the upstairs was a bit chilly. Consider a space heater for upstairs. The only other feedback is that the kitchen stove does not have an exhaust fan, so when cooking indoors, opening the door is required..... but if it's cold outside, keeping the door open may be tricky. Finally, the town store is closed on Sat and Sun- plan ahead and the town restaurant has odd open hours, so plan ahead. ...
