« Rose River Cottage is a gem! The outdoor spaces are so nice and the fenced in yard was a treat for our pup that you don’t find at many properties. Beth is a great host; she promptly responded to all questions and really wanted to be sure we had all the comforts and amenities we wanted or needed. We visited the area with the purpose of going to New River Gorge National Park. The drive there from the cottage was beautiful not too far with several nice waterfalls along the way. « The house was perfectly clean and set up with everything we needed. Well-appointed kitchen. It was the perfect small home for us and our close friends to have as home base for our New River Gorge adventures. We loved the large back yard with vibrant fall trees, comfortable furniture under an awning, and a firepit. Walked to restaurants in town. Convenient to all our daytime activities and quiet at night. Clear and speedy communications with the host. We'll be back. »

« We had a wonderful stay in this adorable cottage. The house was spotless when we arrived and equipped with everything we needed during our 2 night stay. We loved the historic features in the house and the thoughtful modern remodeling that has also been completed. Being within walking distance to delicious restaurants and coffee shops was an added bonus. We particularly enjoyed dining at The Humble Tomato and Del Sol. The Wild Bean for coffee and breakfast was also a big hit with my family. »
