« This is an excellent rental for couples. 6 bedrooms all with their own bathrooms. There is plenty of seating and space to be together or to be alone. The outdoor space is great and private. Location is easy to find and not far from anything if you feel the need to adventure away from the house. I do not know what else we would have needed for our weekend stay. Would rent again. »

« We stayed in Galena for the Great Galena Balloon Race and this place was conviently close to the event field and to the historical attractions that we wanted to see. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us and we really enjoyed our stay. Wish we had more time so we could visit the recreation center where the pool is. We definitely recommend this place! »

« House is a remodeled turn of the century 1900s) farmhouse, with plenty of history and modern touches. Everything we needed to be comfortable was provided. Beautiful property and close enough to town to explore. Enough bedrooms for 8. Quiet place to relax. Will stay again! »

« Perfect home away from home for a few days. Was pleasantly surprised that the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with necessities and extras. Everything was well marked and there was easy to understand directions for everything (owners club passes, thermostat, hot tub etc). Wish we stayed longer, we didn't have enough time to use the sitting area on the upper deck with the fire feature or the outdoor fire pit/campfire area, but they were enticing and will definitely use next time.
