« clean space and nice host! »

« Everything was just the right size for us. We thought the first aid kit in the bathroom was a very good idea. We were a short walk to coffee shops, restaurants and breweries. »

« Perfect location to explore Dubuque's Millwork District and downtown area. The coffee shop next door had great breakfast options and relaxing in the hot tub on the balcony offered a relaxing end to the day. Great location and host! »

« This was possibly the nicest VRBO I have ever stayed at. The apartment itself was immaculately clean and everything was in pristine condition. We were blow away by all the small details that show this property owner is thinking how to make the best stay possible for her guests. There were so many amenities, like locally sourced hand soaps and toiletries, fully stocked kitchen with anything you would need to cook a delicious meal, complimentary bath salts for the soaker tub. I could go on and...

« This property is in an excellent location, we had the Farmers Market just outside our front door on Saturday! Ken was fantastic in responsive, he worked with us through a couple minor things. They had to get a new couch (the green one is no longer there) and the new one does not have a pull out bed but he got us a great air mattress to use, and checked in to ensure our stay was running smoothly. Note his restaurant is right around the corner and is fantastic as well! Highly recommended! There is...

« Overall good stay. Refrigerator made loud noise {squealing/vibrating}--but the host was accessible to discuss promptly. Loft was clean and spacious. »

« Easy process and perfect place for my husband and I! »

« This is the 2nd time I've stayed here. Each time, everything has been great! I checked in a little bit early this time and she was willing for me to come back to her place to clean up before I drove for 3 hours back home. I didn't, but she offered which I thought was very nice. I highly recommend this place! »

« Pet friendly so that is why we chose this place! Easy to work with. Will stay again. »

« Ken is great! Super responsive and helpful. The place is clean and spacious and great location. It has everything one could need. »

« Very nice and clean place with everything we needed and close to lots of fun bars and restaurants. Ken was quick to respond and very helpful. »

« The location was perfect, just a short walk from downtown. The Artistic Retreat was exceptionally clean, and the bed was very comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed using the sauna, which was an added bonus. During one of our walks downtown, we had the pleasure of meeting the owners. It was fascinating to learn about the history of the property and hear about their impressive artistic backgrounds. We highly recommend the Artistic Retreat. »
