A great place to go for a day trip in Nova Scotia, Canada. The Cape D'Or lighthouse on the Bay of Fundy is a little off the beaten path, but well worth the journey and never crowded. Perfect location to enjoy some peace and quiet while taking in the ocean scenery and tall cliffs along the coastline. To see one of the best sunsets, it's best to stay the night. There is a seasonal restaurant and small inn at the lighthouse keepers buildings.

« We just finished a 5 day stay here for our Christmas family reunion (9 adults, 3 kids and Wilson the dog!). Megan and Chris, our hosts, were great. Right from when we booked our stay months ago to when we left, they have been accessible for our every needs. They have been a joy to work with. The house was awesome and was stocked everything we might need. It is a large space which gave us plenty of room to have fun. We would recommend their place for any large group! »

« My family and I had the « wow » factor as soon as we got out of the car. The property and the house were the perfect getaway for our family. We visited the island but we could’ve stay all week at the house and it would've been perfect vacation too. We were lucky enough to see a shouting star the first night and later that week we admired the sunset on one side and a rainbow on the other!! The house is perfect for a family. Lots a thing to do.
