« Very private and tranquil location. The house was very simple, contemporary and I'm not sure we would have asked for anything more or different for our family. The host was very gracious and communicative and this was our 2nd year staying at this particular property. We hope to stay at the Great Outdoors again next year!! »

« It’s a beautiful rustic place to stay. The cabin was roomy and very clean. It wasn’t actually 4 bedrooms. There were 3 bedrooms and then the loft had a very comfortable double/twin bunk bed, just no privacy for sleeping in. The walk down to the lake was easy, but there was poison ivy, so beware if you’re allergic to it. But the views were great. We saw a lot of wildlife in the evenings and that was fun for my grandson. « Even better than the pictures. The cabin is an 1850s cabin that was reassembled on the property. It was adorable. Had everything we needed. The area is beautiful. There are several cabins and tree houses on the property but each has more than enough privacy from the next. We came with our two young daughters and they had a blast.
