« We got what we came for: A lovely and somewhat remote retreat looking(literally) over the Current River with a deck and a fire pit with comfortable beds, hot water, and enough kitchen gear to prepare meals. You can even do some light fishing from the old boat ramp but more to pass the time than get serious. This would be an amazing place for a family to set up as a Basecamp for a floating adventure.We were just two old dudes catiching up and hitting rhe river and it was more than we needed but...

« I liked that the property was quiet and clean. It was convenient for our float trip. It was nice to have a full kitchen and so many bedrooms. Read the checkout instructions before you go, my friend tried to cool the house and froze the AC up. We roasted for a bit. The checkout instructions were the only place I for about ac was at. « Very clean and nicely decorated. Well thought out stock of items you might need for your stay. Easy to check in and information was provided to enter the house and wifi access. Our stay was enjoyable and we were near the places we had weekend family events scheduled. So much more comfortable than a hotel. We have two small dogs that we travel with and it is hard to have them at a hotel. You cannot leave them alone at the hotel while you attend events since it is a worry that they will bark...
