« When you’re in the middle of nowhere, you don’t expect a lot of comfort but we loved the cabin and the experience so much that we extended from Friday only to Saturday, leaving Sunday instead. Perfect deck for watching the sunset. I love that everything was simple and clean. The sunshine through the windows and the dishes, beds and blankets were so cozy. »

« My family and I had a great time here. We walked a trail, fed emus, donkeys, calf's, deer, llamas, and collected eggs. My kids loved playing on the hay bales, listening to the deep thump of the emu and the overall experiences. My eldest loved playing on the piano, my daughters enjoyed playing with the cats and and my two sons loved the outdoors. We all voted to come back. The hosts were generous, supportive, helpful and kind. Thank you Jeff and Missy for a wonderful new set of memories. 10 out...

« The Overlook has great space to accomodate a group that is looking for action at the lake or throughout the northern Texas country. Plenty of bathrooms, bedrooms and storage. The place is dated and could use some sprucing up, but if that doesn't matter to you, it's an incredible value for the space. »
