« We loved our stay in the forest, it's nice that there are other houses around but at the same time it feels completely secluded. The cabin is gorgeous and we loved hanging out on the porch! The sheets were super soft, water pressure was good, everything was super clean and well taken care of.Some tiny suggestions for improvement that would level up the experience to 6 stars if that was an option: upgrade the 1 ply cheap toiletpaper, add nice pump soap instead of a packaged bar, add one tide pod...

« It was ideal! Rustic and charming. This is the second time we rented this cabin. We love the experience. It was serene and peaceful! The Host, Steve McLarin is available if and when needed. Gives accurate information and is friendly. Overall, we were so pleased we don’t even look for anywhere else to experience solitude. We found it here and love it. Thank you. »

« What a delightful cabin! It was both clean and cozy, Private but with good access, parking, and WIFI. l was pleasantly surprised to find everything necessary for an excellent cup of coffee!These are good folks who took great care of us as guests, would absolutely reserve with Mountain Moma again! »

« If you’re looking for a peaceful mountain retreat surrounded by the sounds of nature and a short drive from beautiful horse and wine country this is your place! The cabin itself is very rustic and well appointed with a great front porch that’s perfect for sipping your morning coffee. We appreciated the unique artwork and decor as well. « Absolutely Great stay. The host was outstanding and responded to us very quickly with all our questions. The history and the view are outstanding. We went fishing and walked on the Forge all the way across right at our front door. One of the best places I ever stayed. Must visit Downtown Shepherdtown and Hapers Ferry. Sooo much history . Also must eat at Rock Hill Creamery absolutely the best ice cream Ive ever had. »

« We had a great stay! The cabin was clean and comfortable. The kids had fun playing near the river and the game shed. I wish we had stayed longer to enjoy everything the cabin had to offer! »
