« Very clean. Loved the tub. Nice to have owners close/on site. Much better than dealing with a "rental company". Very spacious without feeling like wasted space. Just and FYI, if you're coming in winter, pay attention to the weather. The driveway can be a little dicey with snow. »

« The Captain’s Cabin was charming, beautifully decorated, and VERY comfy! Jan and Tammy certainly went above and beyond with communication and treats including Christmas cookies! Our stay was just an overnight so we did not get a chance to appreciate the outdoor activities that the cabin grounds allowed (lake, stream, canoeing)…. Maybe we need a return trip?We would highly recommend the Captain’s Cabin. Beautifully maintained, very clean, well appointed, and it is just like sleeping in a movie...

« Mulberry Cabin at Lost Trails was great! The cabin was cozy and felt pretty private (even though the other cabins are within view). The bed was super comfy, and they did a great job making sure the cabin had everything one might need on a trip away from home. It was also very close to all things Madison, so it felt very convenient. We would definitely stay there again! »

« Firstly, the pictures of this place do not do it justice. It is so beautiful and well stocked and you just feel cared for in this amazing three-story cabin wonderland. The owners are communicative and welcoming and checked in to make sure everything was perfect. What an amazing surprise when we arrived and the whole cabin was decorated for Christmas. Kimberly had reached out to see if that was OK with us and the decorations just made it a perfect girls Christmas trip away! »

« This house is exceptional! Architecturally I just can't say how fantastic it is... that wall of windows and sliding doors, the deck with built-in hammock is hands down my grandsons favorite. The views from here are quite pleasing whether from a rocking chair, table or hammock. I'd love to experience this in every season. We've played in the creek (which due to excessive rain is a fast moving stream), finding multiple geodes and skipping stones. The outside shower has also been a huge hit....
