« So lovely! Tucked into the beautiful green nature of Vermont. Off the beaten path but not far from shops, etc. House smelled a little funky when we arrived but property manager called me and later dropped off some supplies to help. Super responsive, very nice. And waking up seeing nothing but trees? That is bliss. Very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again. Oh and I always like to know this prior to arrival - yes there is a coffee pot. Yes there were filters. Bring ground coffee »

« We stay at the Brook Wood Inn when visiting family in nearby Unity. This was our 2nd stay at the Inn and it is very relaxing place to stay. The common areas and kitchen is great, we always make our own breakfast and have a nice cup of coffee together each morning :) »

« We were looking for a place to stay for 1 night so we didn’t have to drive home late from a family event. It fit the bill. Self checkin & clean. We were in the lavender room which is at the top of the stairs. The room is not sound proofed so you can hear everything in the hallway and through the walls. No security lock on the room door inside, which is a little unnerving. Overall it met our needs. »

« The Inn was great, self check in was easy, the room was exactly as listed and the place was clean and quiet. The only issue we had was that the property manager uses Hosteeva instead of Vrbo for bookings so after paying Vrbo I received an email from Hosteeva saying my payment didn't go through. I had to submit a separate payment to Hosteeva which seemed a little sketchy at first, but it turned out fine. I would suggest booking directly with Hosteeva for the property to save yourself the Vrbo fee...

« First ignore my rating on skining. I was not there to ski and it was not ski season. VRBO forced a rating of the skiing experience to procede with the review. This is a great property as noted in all the other reviews. A beautiful relaxing location. The cottage was well stocked including a complimentary box of pancake mix and Vermont maple syrup. Communication from the owner was excellent. On a rainy day he texted indoor activites in the area. This is the place we will stay if in the area...
