« This is a charming, rustic cabin with everything you need. The host is on site, kind and helpful. We really appreciated all that he did for us. The cabin / RV park is quiet with that perfect mountain ambiance. If you plan on using the futon, be sure to ask for bedding. I didn't read the fine print but we had brought a sleeping bag, so all was perfect. »

« Outstanding!! The cabin was clean and comfortable and well stocked. Communication with the host was great. We really enjoyed sitting in the cabin or outside on one of the porches and watching the elk that were there in abundance! Very relaxing! Would definitely stay here again! »

« This was an exceptionally clean and well stocked cabin. It was so homey and comfortable, and the decor was so welcoming. Away enough from Cloudcroft to not be busy, but close enough to run in and enjoy the village. The owners were awesome-very quick to address an issue with the fridge. The front porch was blissful!The only warning I would give is that the stairs to the upstairs bedroom are very steep and there is no upstairs bathroom, but the handrail is very sturdy. « “It’s a special place” she said. And WOW-was she right! The wildlife and surroundings here are off the hook! The deer and elk came by in the evenings - there was deer corn provided - use it! There is birdseed provided as well - use it! And don’t forget the hummingbird feeders too! We bought more seed and suet in town at the hardware store - I would recommend bringing it inside at night.
