« The neighbor hood is very nice. We walked up and down the street and stopped for ice cream. Wish we would have got to eat at the Mexican right across the street. The house is awesome! Betty was great and even set up a cot for an extra bed. The house had everything we needed. We loved the history of the house and enjoyed staying in an older home that was perfectly maintained. « View is exceptional. Nice windows inside to see the Blue Ridge Mountains. Saw a doe and her baby. Also saw turkey! Many amenities of home. Host was quick to reply to messages. Downside, there was an odor when we entered, but we like open windows the best anyway! With the winds open, fresh air was flowing. I’m just sensitive to odors, you may not be. Overall—- it was a very relaxing time for us as we celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary overlooking the mountains! »
