« What I liked most about this property is its remoteness. It is the place to go if you want peace and quiet and to commune with nature, without other people annoying you in the process. The facility is off the main road, and there are no traffic sounds to break the silence. It was so nice to see native animals & birds instead of people while staying there. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Healesdale House. The property is attractive, well-appointed, and the breakfast items are a hospitable touch. The house is close to most everything in the Yarra Valley, but tucked away in town just enough to feel calm and quiet. Our host was readily and helpfully available throughout. He offered great recommendations for local businesses and wineries (though all of the cellars we visited were terrific.) We would gladly stay at Healesdale House again! »

« The property is huge and beautifully tucked away in nature. If the stay is during the cold months, it's recommended that those who love a fireplace take firewood, and don't forget the essentials to start the fire. Our group loved the place and would like to suggest that the host provide essentials like kindling, matches, or a fire starter kit to make things simpler, as these items are easily forgotten when we are packing for a weekend away.We would definitely consider returning to the property...

« We loved Riverdale. Great little escape and the kids made their own fun collecting firewood and going for walks around the property. Close to everything you need to access but far enough away to be completely alone! Would recommend. »

« Lovely little property set in a quiet location and surrounded by plenty of bushwalking options. Host Walter has set up the ideal place for getting away from it all and that's exactly what this experience delivered - a much needed break from the big city and the perfect finale to an extended Easter vacation. Will be sure to return. »

« We loved staying in 'The Suite'. It was clean, well maintained, and beautifully decorated, with the most amazing views from every window. Lying in bed in the morning looking out at the rolling green hills and watching the baby sheep play was a highlight, as was the outside fire in the chiminea one evening. So relaxing, and the hosts were very attentive and responsive to any of our queries, and we loved all the little touches around the room. We'd definitely be happy to go back! »
