« The property was perfect for us as we traveled with 6 children, lots of room and location was perfect., but the property could use a little TLC with regards to the interior, that said, we would book it again if we needed it. »

« The cottage is secluded with plenty of wildlife and amazing scenery. We were visited by fox, deer and hummingbirds!The kitchen is well appointed and beds are comfortable. Our host was very responsive to questions before and during our stay.The short walk to the shore leads to a rocky beach with lovely views and awe inspiring sunsets.Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to relax and unwind. Make sure to stop for provisions on the way to the cottage as the nearest grocery...

« We enjoyed or stay and the view was terrific. Deck furniture was comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Owner says she is eliminating washcloths but when we asked she provided a couple more. What would have made our stay better would have been a washer/dryer available and access to that beautiful upstairs bathroom off the master bedroom which made that nice bedroom unusable with only toilet and sink available. »

« We felt the lockbox was on the wrong door and we had a hard time finding the right door. It was around the opposite side of the house. The key is accessed inside the lock box. The kitchen was well equipped and pleasant to use. One suggestion would be to inform incoming guests that the coffee maker was a keurig. »

« The dome itself was lovely and well situated on the water. The bed was uncomfortable, but the linens were clean. I was very disappointed in the facilities. I have no issues with using a pit toilet, however you must provide some running water for guests. The only way I was able to fill up water bottles was to ask the people at the lodge to go into the kitchen to fill my water bottles. I was also incredibly disgusted by the showers at Cabot Shores. « Very nice cabin in secluded location in the woods, with a lake access. The cabin is in new condition, has very well equipped kitchen and is nicely decorated. Kayaks were available to use by the guests. The property manager was easy and fast to reach when we had some questions. Overall a very good experience. »

« We had an absolutely wonderful time at this cottage. I would come back in a heartbeat. With a full kitchen we were able to make dinner and plan meals for our day trips. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of blankets for the chillier nights. The grounds were beautiful with lots of space for the kids to play. The back porch was a peaceful place to have a cup of coffee in the morning. I don’t have any negative comments, nothing could have been better. It was absolutely perfect. »

« We originally booked the cottage to do some hiking, however trails in NS were closed due to risk of wildfires, understandable. We still had an awesome time, drove the Cabot trail, went to the beach, explored the area. We will be back and will definitely stay here again. The cottage was perfect. The kitchen had all necessary tools, everything was clean, the space was cozy. »

« I honestly cannot say one bad thing. We rented the chalet for 4 days and our experience was fantastic. The owners were prompt in responding to any question we had. The view was absolutely incredible. We loved it! We will rent again. »
