« We had a phenomenal time at Alan’s mountain home. We skied 2 days, we easily walked to the lift and came home for lunch and went back out. It is so nice to not have to get in your car with the gear. The house is huge and had everything we needed. We had 3 families with young children and we all slept well, felt safe and made amazing family memories. The hot tub was such an amazing experience after a long day of skiing. « This is our third visit staying at this cabin for family gatherings and we love it! Great wooded location, plenty of sleeping space, clean hot tub, cozy firepit area and good times. Thank you, Beth, for being a fantastic host! »

« This property is in a small, cute town literally 10 minutes away from the amusement park! The house is cozy but spacious. The decor is amazing and homey. »

« Perfect spot for our summer family reunion ... half from the East coast, the rest from Ohio. We enjoyed swimming (yes, the pool water was cold but super refreshing on hot days), fire pit, spacious kitchen for cooking, breezeway with extra ovens and refrigerator. The big living room was fun for family games and just hanging out. Gorgeous views, loved the sound of the stream nearby. "Trail" goes up to a meadow, but looked like it had not been mowed, so will say with other reviewers that the trail...

« Wonderful spot, loved the decor and the coziness of the cabin. Loved the gas fireplace as well. Check in and out was so easy…our daughter arrived before we did and she was able to interact with the hosts over the phone to check in. Close to Flight 93 Memorial site which is a must visit!! »

« Finch House is a wonderful property. The location right beside a stream is peaceful. All of the light switches are labeled!! That is a level of detail much appreciated. The entire aesthetic of the home was perfect. I coild have sat for hours outside on the patio or the sheltered shed porch. Thank you John and Kathleen for such a pleasant stay. Definitely "exceptional".P.S. As someone who grew up in Westmoreland County, I have always loved the town of Ligonier! »

« My daughter is a student athlete at Seton Hill U and we stayed here for a few days while she recovered from ACL surgery. This home was very accommodating for our needs. All one level living with 2 full baths. Place was new and clean. Owner was responsive when needed and so nice, providing extra ice in the freezer for my daughter’s recovery. One thing to consider is that there are just the basics in the kitchen so if you plan on cooking alot during your stay, you should know that in advance....
