The best part was how close it is to the Arnold Ridge Trail (literally a stone's throw from the front door). We loved taking early morning walks through the grasslands and woods with our doggies. « We headed to the cabin the week before Fourth of July. The location is great. It’s just 10 minutes to Arnold where we spent most of our time hanging out at White Pines Lake. Although the kitchen is small, everything worked great in the cabin I would suggest if going up in the summertime to bring additional fans as the cabin did get warm in the late afternoon. « Sugar pine challet is in the perfect location for easy ski trips to Bear Valley, Big trees, and hiking. There is an enchanting fire circle area with bistro lights. The general store is super close for anything you may have forgotten. The fenced yard is perfect for allowing your fur baby some freedom to run out energy. The size is perfect for 6 people, and clean and comfortable!! We enjoyed our stay so much I'm already checking my calendar for when we can go back! »
