Viera wetlands also known as Ritch Grissom Memorial consists of man made marshes and is home to a variety of birds and alligators. It. Is a calm peaceful place where you can walk, cycle or even drive thru. There are 4 marshes and if you are lucky and patient you can witness the alligators moving from one cell to the other. I was lucky enough to capture one such alligator crossing.

« We has such a great time! It started off a little rocky, the AC not working in our room. But the host quickly had someone working on it within minutes. Meanwhile, they were kind enough to move us to a beautiful room with an amazing view!! We were right on the beach!
