« GREAT place, thanks. Just a couple of thoughts: (1) the footboard in the left bedroom has sharp upper corners that someone might (did) get scraped on, (2) when it's windy the boards in the windows / air conditioning make a small bang (?) moving in and out, (3) the front door code might be sent BEFORE the day of arrival, please! Some seniors (like us) don't have smartphones and won't see the message on home computers before leaving for the rental. Sending the code the afternoon before would be...

« Host was very responsive! Home was clean and laid out well as advertised. Location was great! Easy drive to Schweitzer and downtown Sandpoint. We couldn’t use the hot tub for a whole day as they drained the water and it didn’t heat up in time(without giving us a heads up) which was rough after a hard day of skiing. « At the end of March we had a family get together in Sandpoint and stayed 3 nights. My husband and I spent the first night there alone and it was perfect. We sat outside, star gazed and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. Our son and his family, plus dog, joined us the next day. « The location and neighborhood is top notch. Place was comfortable much like a very large hotel suite. Not super homey. With just a little bit of money and thought, they could charge way more. It’s missing things like more indoor seating, hooks, outdoor seating/umbrella or sail shade, carpets, lamps, dimmers just things that make a place comfortable. « Excellent stay. Debbie, host, provided great correspondence and left no doubt, had we required it, assistance. The rental has everything needed from kitchen, dining area, sleeping and bathroom. Overall, it's charming, rustic and inviting. As stated in the listing, it's secondary waterfront so not on the lake but there's a nice view from the deck. Spent the weekend celebrating our anniversary with needed downtime, dinner's out and taking in a 10 mile out and back hike to the Upper Priest Lake....

« Everything was great! It took a while to figure out where everything was, but it felt very cozy, and comfortable. If you like specific spices in your cooking, bring them, there are spices, but limited selection. The paddle boards and kayaks are a great addition! My girls had a great time! The lake was still cold, but it was early April. Overall, amazing experience! I'll look for this cabin if we're ever staying in the area again. Also, it's not far from Silverwood when it's open! »
