« As promised, a real sanctuary. A small and hidden gem attached to a farmhouse, everything was spotless and clean like home. The farm grounds are beautiful, with a lovely view of the Peaks of Otter. This place is great for a couple or a solo traveller, a spot to unwind and unplug. It forced a change of pace and filled the day with activity — we went on three hikes including the challenging Sharp Top mountain, visited an apple orchard (and bought a peach sapling) and had excellent Thai and Indian...

« Very nice place, we enjoyed it! I was a little worried because I could not find the thermometer, but AC was running good so I didn’t need to adjust anything. We had a great time, though, and it is a great place to stay! »

« This location was a perfect place to rest a cross-country road trip. It was easy to find, centrally located, quiet, and with excellent parking. It had all the an accommodations we could need. The bathroom amazing. Appliances were fantastic. The entire place was smartly decorated and comfortable. »

« We had a very comfortable stay. It is very well stocked with toiletries and snacks. The pool and hot tube area is very nice! The property, as described, is in the woods so just note that if you need anything like ice, be sure to get it before you turn off of route 220. »

« Extremely clean. Beds were comfortable.Brewery restaurant across the street was great.Claire's for breakfast & coffee a plus. »

« Stayed for 6 nights and was a nice sized apartment that had everything we needed. It was walkable to the core of downtown but in a quiet area with businesses that were only open during the day so noise at night was not a problem. Parking in the lot next to the building was easy and we were pleased to find that instead of having to carry everything up stairs (we brought bikes) you can just walk onto the roof from the back of the parking lot after opening the back door from the front entrance....

« We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and spacious. We liked that it looked out on the woods, while being close to shopping. The road was a little busy, but with the apartment being in the back/lower level of the unit it was quiet. Beds were very comfy! The host responded quickly to messages. It was a nice area of town so we felt very safe. We would stay here again. »

« We had a wonderful anniversary trip to Roanoke and could not be happier with our lodgings. This place is a mix of modern meets historic. It is a great place for a weekend getaway for a couple or for a group of friends. There are 3 bedrooms and plenty of space. There even is a car charger, which we asked to use and the property owner shared. Check-in and out was easy. Kitchen facility was great. »
