« This is a beautiful independent apartment attached to the owner's home. It is well stocked, very clean, very comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It is in a very quiet area, reasonably easy to access, yet not far to town. The host is very responsive so communication is good. There is a washer/dryer in unit (bring your own detergent). The kitchen is nice and fully stocked, though we didn't really use it. The king size bed was very comfortable. There are lots of windows so good light comes in,...

« Apartment was just as listed. The bed was very comfy and we appreciated the coffee. Extremely clean and in a nice little town! We even were able to catch a parade down Main Street one night of our stay. We loved the location- so close to NRG/Fayetteville. It was perfect for our needs. »

« Had a difficult time getting into the building. Code would not work. Finally a lady that lives in the building let us in. After reaching out to the host, we were able to get into the apartment. The place looked just like the picture on the app, it was clean. The problem was the two of us only had 1 clean bath towel. The rest of the towels and the sheets from the prior occupant, we’re in the washer/dryer combo, damp and stinky. The hosts cleaning ladies obviously did not do their job well. »

The guest book offering suggestions of close by dining was helpful after a full day in the park. The Carriage house accommodations truly helped make our trip to The New River Gorge a happy and special experience. »

The house is old and so are most of its appliances, but I think it just adds character! There is a unit above you, which isn’t really a problem, but you can hear their footsteps.
