« We came to the area to do a tour of the regional wineries, Ambrose on Byng was the perfect base for our short trips. It is a beautiful, well appointed cottage, so peaceful and quiet an easy to live in, there is nothing i can think of that would have made our stay any better. Thats so much to Stuart for his hospitality. »

« The cottage is in a lovely location in leafy streets close to Cook Park and cafes. This is our second holiday at the cottage as it is a relaxing, well appointed, beautifully restored historic home. We’ll stay there again when we are in Orange. »

« We had the best time. The house was beautiful & had everything you could possible need. Our only feedback was the pillows were too soft but we like harder pillows & the sink in the master wasn’t cleaned very well. We completely understand that the turnover needs to be quick but it may be worth doing a final wipe over. This did not hinder anything & we will definitely rebook this place next time we head to Bathurst. »

« There was only one fly in the ointment regarding the stay. There is a set of shelves in the garage which are situated pretty much where most driver doors would open. My friend couldn't open her driver door at all. I managed to get my door open but while trying to carry my bag into the house I connected with the shelf corner splitting my forehead and causing a scary amount of blood to pour forth. I managed it with ice and loo paper and after sticking plastering it for the two days it has healed...

« Clean, tidy with very comfortable beds, dishwasher broken but being replaced 21/1/26. A bit hot during summer needs air conditioning in living area, air conditioning only in back bedroom. »

« Four bedroom home (ex Council Building), short walk to shopping, dining & leisure, a lot of old furniture to match the character of the building, the only downside was that we were four men staying and there was only one shower & toilet, beside that all was good »
