« Beautful surroundings, a delightful, quiet and very comfortable cottage. All in all, we had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to book Chaffcutters Cottage again. »

« A neat tidy older style cottage. Cast iron fire place the highlight and was the centre of a smallish cozy lounge room. Great for our winter getaway. Beds were comfortable and warm and heaters were provided in each bed room. Location was perfect, walking distance to everything in town. Pet friendly and perfect for our fur baby with a huge backyard. Listed as 1 and 1/2 bathrooms but 2nd toilet was outside and we didn’t use being a winter getaway. »

« We loved our time in Bathurst staying at Rose Cottage. The central location of the lovely historical cottage was perfect. We loved how the old fireplaces have been utilised as features and the working fireplace in the big sunroom out the back was great! »

« This cottage was perfect for us as a couple. It was simply, but comfortably furnished, with a well equipped kitchen and completely renovated bathroom. It’s a short walk to the main street, parks etc. Parking out the front or round the back. We loved sitting in the leafy backyard with a cuppa. Things to know: the kitchen only had a single sink, which meant washing up often (no dishwasher), but that didn’t bother us - there are tons of good restaurants in Orange. « The house was wonderful for our family catch up. Used the bathroom out the back in the garage which nade it easy. The only problem was the sink in the main bathroom didnt drain very well. Great spot we walked to restaurants each night. »

« Clean gorgeous comfortable cottage and great location with lots of places to enjoy the wine bought from the local wineries. »

« Isolated and very quiet. Lots of sheep surrounding the cottage. Very easy access to the Carcoar River Yarn Festival held that weekend. »

« This property was super cozy. My partner and I booked over the King's birthday weekend, looking for a cozy getaway and this was perfect. The cottage is situated in a Olive tree farm with sheep roaming nearby - they were so cute!! The cottage was warm and heated well, depsite it be -5 degrees and snowing outside! It is a fair way from Orange, about a 25 min drive each way, but the drive is beautiful. We especially enjoyed the trips into Milthorpe which was only a 10 min drive and absolute...

« Excellent little cottage! Two bedrooms with ensuites suited us perfectly. Kitchen had everything we needed, though may be not enough utensils for a big "cook-up" for a family.Beautiful ambiance with lots of little touches.The hosts left bread, milk, margarine and fresh eggs for our breakfast.Beautiful garden filled with many species of birds though it was too cold to sit outside to appreciate the verandahs and outdoor living spaces. « Elizabeth thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast goodies including freshly laid eggs were a real treat and we loved sitting in the early morning sun as it streamed through the north facing windows. The property itself is so peaceful and quiet with a beautiful outlook. »
