« The hosts thought of everything, even cell phone chargers. Very homey. Lots of things provided to do for kids such as games, both indoor and outdoor. Had it been drier we would have walked to the river, but it was too wet. Very nice property. The only drawback is the highway noise. »

« We had a phenomenal time at Alan’s mountain home. We skied 2 days, we easily walked to the lift and came home for lunch and went back out. It is so nice to not have to get in your car with the gear. The house is huge and had everything we needed. We had 3 families with young children and we all slept well, felt safe and made amazing family memories. The hot tub was such an amazing experience after a long day of skiing. « The place is beautiful. There was plenty of parking. The fire pit is convenient to the bottom floor, so easy access to get s'more's supplies. The owner is friendly and accessible through the VRBO app. The beds had freshly laundered sheets wrapped in plastic. We had a wonderful time. »

« Pulled up and garbage all over the front. Opened the door and smell made us gag. Hair all over bathroom so we left and did not stay. Horrible area of town, property is disgusting »

« Perfect getaway spot for all weather!We had to stay indoors due to chilly rain all weekend, but there was plenty to do!4 thrift stores nearby and lovely dining opportunities.There was plenty to do at the house as well, video games, pool table, and hot tub were all a big hit. »

« The house was just as described in the listing. Kyle was very responsive before and during our stay. It was nice being on the river so we could fish and kayak. The grandkids loved the game room as well as the bedroom lofts. There was plenty of room for us to spread out on the enclosed porch and deck. I would recommend this charming place to anyone interested in staying near Berkeley Springs. »

« Wonderful spot, loved the decor and the coziness of the cabin. Loved the gas fireplace as well. Check in and out was so easy…our daughter arrived before we did and she was able to interact with the hosts over the phone to check in. Close to Flight 93 Memorial site which is a must visit!! »

« We had a wonderful stay at Quiet Escape! The house is well appointed with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. It fit our family of 6 perfectly with comfortable beds for everyone. One of the best features was the back yard patio which was right off the kitchen. Sitting out there with our morning coffee was a highlight. "Je n'attendais pas grand chose de cet établissement à part un lieu simple et propre pour faire étape. J'ai découvert une chambre au charme désuet (passons), à la moquette crasseuse et baignée par une forte odeur de renfermé et tabac froid. La climatisation était assourdissante et il a fallu l'éteindre pour fermer l'oeil. Mais le comble fut de découvrir après une mauvaise nuit que j'avais été piquée par des punaises de lit, avec une belle allergie en prime. La médiocrité du petit-déjeuner est-elle pertinente à relever ? Un conseil, passez votre chemin !"
