This was a heck of an early start to climb Mt Sneffels. I was very lucky to get these wonderful colors after a 4.50am start. A night sleeping in the back of the truck at the trailhead. It was worth it as I managed to miss the afternoon storms.

« The communication with Avantstay was terrible. They didn’t send the access code until we got there and had to call them, which was a very long wait with the answering machine. The access is terrible. We carried large luggage because of the ski gear, and we had to carry them around for more than two blocks, and then there was no elevator.
