« We had a great time staying in the dome and wished we could have stayed longer. They thought of everything you’d need for a relaxing vacation! Very private and beautiful surroundings - we heard frogs and far off coyotes at night and woke up to find we were surrounded by wildflowers. You can even grill there. Totally want to come back. »

« We came looking for a camping spot for the solar eclipse. Our site was tucked away at the end of a huge field on a small peninsula with a running river nearby. The camping was amazing, the ground was nice and soft for our tents and we could build the campfire up with an endless supply of firewood. « My partner and I needed a place to camp for the total eclipse and came across Ryan's listing. Wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. He's such a nice, accommodating host. Taking the time to show us the property and delivering firewood to our site. The land is gorgeous! Great stargazing and sunsets. « The owner made it clear in advance that there was basically no facilities. That was no problem for me. I was well prepared and had an enormous field to myself. The owner provided a huge amount of firewood and I enjoyed a nice campfire at night. In the morning, the field was covered in white frosting and wild(?) turkeys was walking through the field. For me, it was a great way to explore the area and avoided most of the eclypse traffic and it was well worth the money! »

« Quiet and family friendly. Few rowdy campers but nothing too crazy. Fishing was great! The oldest (7 years old) caught his biggest fish ever, a 20-21 inch bowfin! »
