« I wanted to view the property before booking as I only live 11 miles away. The host said there were enough pictures online that that shouldn't be necessary. Then I wanted to do room assignments. The host said there were two bedrooms on each floor. This was not true. There are three on the main floor, two on the second floor and one in the loft. « We had a very enjoyable stay at this rustic place in the woods! Morning coffee on the deck listening to the birds among the beautiful canopy of trees was fun!! Close to Madison and a ton of other fun activities. Host was excellent at communicating and very helpful. »

« My spouse and I stayed 4 nights in July as I was attending a conference at UW-Madison. The 15-minute drive was not a problem at all, and one of us even walked it one time (80 minutes?). If I had it to do over, I might bring a bicycle, as Madison is so bike friendly and I would have saved tons on parking! :) There was a heat wave the first couple of days, but the A/C kept the apartment cold (I cannot comment on the hot tub 😂). « The property was nice, clean and very bright. We enjoyed playing bags in the garage, as it rained most of our visit. Be aware it is located on a very busy road, but leashes on the dogs worked well. Would recommend. »

« The penthouse is more incredible than the pictures show. We loved all of the special touches - murals, cows, old school video game machine, hanging chairs. We had plenty of shampoo, soap, tp, towels, coffee. I loved hearing the clock tower from the courthouse. I've never been on The Square after businesses are closed; we really enjoyed the quiet ambience. « We couldn’t have loved this house more! It was perfect for us two couples (& the house was big enough for the 8 people it’s advertised for). It had everything we needed amenities wise. « It was a very interesting experience for us because we came from a large city. The house is located in the middle of cornfields, surrounded by endless greenery. It was incredibly quiet, and the fresh scent of nature was so refreshing. The house itself is old but very clean. I especially loved the fresh laundry scent of the bed sheets.
