« We enjoyed our stay. Great value and certainly as advertised. The property is close to the road so may not be as suitable for young families. There is definitely some road noise but otherwise a good spot. »

« We enjoyed a comfortable, peaceful stay in this charming house in Port Hood. The views are lovely and the beach is a short walk away. During our two week stay we were able to get to most of Cape Breton including Port Hawkesbury, Chéticamp, St. Ann’s, Mabou, Judique and Inverness. The host and property manager were gracious and accessible. I would stay here again. »

« Clean cottage with lots of amenities, an excellent location, and what a beautiful view! The check-in and check-out instructions were clear, and the hosts were quick to respond. We only stayed for one night and wished we could’ve stayed longer! We also briefly met the neighbour’s dog, Ted, which was a nice little bonus! Overall, a safe and quiet place to stay. « Nathan and Shelley’s place is not only in the perfect location for your Cape Breton trip, it is the cutest house we stayed at during our East Coast trip. The 2 bedrooms are super cozy, and the pictures don’t do justice to the amount of space available including both a living, dining, kitchen, and family room (overlooking a cute river in the back). « Quaint, well appointed farmhouse with modern plumbing fixtures and appliances. Centrally located to Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Rooms are small but comfortable. Everything you need is there. Lots of attention has been given to small details. Private location on low traffic road very close to the Cabot Trail. Very quiet and homey. »

« Didn’t help we turned up in the dark and it was raining so we had a bit of trouble finding our cabin but once in it was cosy and comfortable. »
