« The hosts are very gracious and quick to respond. The little touches made it feel like home and it is as described in the listing. I would recommend this to anyone, it was perfect to celebrate my parents 60th anniversary together with my siblings and families. I rented a VRBO this fall in another location and wish we could take this home with us! »

« I spent every summer of my childhood in Oakwood, so I know the cottage well. It used to belong to Rev. Ross Cook. My grandparents were George and Marie Cook (no relation to Rev. Cook) and they built the cottage at 1019 S Lake Dr. They worked at the old hotel every summer for decades. My dad also worked there during his teen years and so did I. I loved the view of the park. « We stayed for one night in South Bend as a group of three couples attending a wedding in nearby Michigan, and this home was absolutely perfect for our needs. It was clean, welcoming, and incredibly comfortable. The space was larger than expected, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy their time together without feeling cramped. « The house was clean. The beds were comfortable. The deck was really nice. There was plenty of parking. Only downsides were no electrical outlet in the one bathroom and although the kitchen was stocked with pots and pans, there were no spices, condiments, foil etc so bring those if you plan to cook. All in all a very nice home and worth the price. »

« Home was great. Beautiful back yard and deck. Quite neighborhood. Plenty of room in the home. Felt the listing was accurate. Home was clean and had all of the basics. Owner was great with communication through the process and made sure we had everything we needed for the stay. »

« Treehouse Acres is a beautiful. We enjoyed the secluded property, surrounded by trees, the pond, and lovely outdoor entertaining spaces very much. The upper deck is lovely to sit and enjoy a morning cup of coffee or evening bowl of ice cream. « We had a group of women stay for a 50th birthday retreat weekend. This was exactly what we needed. Beach area by lake was a nice touch. Kitchen is fully stocked with most items you’d need to cook/grill. We felt right at home, and communication with homeowners is top notch. Fireworks in Sturgis was fantastic to watch on the deck. Would absolutely stay here again! »
