« My family and I had a very distressing experience at this property. Despite arriving at 2:00 AM after a long trip, we were unable to rest because the rental was in an unacceptable state.Cleanliness Issues:Upon arrival, the house was filthy. We found trash left behind, dirt on the floors, and dirty dishes in the kitchen. Most concerningly, the bedsheets and blankets were covered in visible stains and dirt. Because the linens were unusable, we had to stay up through the night washing laundry just...

« Great amenities, had every thing we needed and more. Was perfect and very spacious for me and my family. Love that it had stuff to entertain both adults and kids. Hope to stay here again my next trip to Carlsbad. »

« Rooms were perfect and the location was convenient. We have 2 suggestions for improvement. There needs to be more plates to suite at least the 6 people the home will sleep. A new heavier weight shower curtain or a curved shower rod, this will be to keep the curtain off of you while showering. »

« This is an older home that needs some serious updating before I would consider staying here again! The reviews were a few months ago and I thought that it would be improved. It's not! There are only two bedrooms that are comfortable to sleep in. Both have comfortable king beds, but sheets on one had to be changed before it was slept in. The floor was swept and the dust pile was left for us to clean up. The den holds a king bed, but the room was barely warm despite the heater running all night...

« This is truly like coming home… all the way to your couch recliners. The owners went above and beyond by including little items you often forget (toothpaste, lotion, coffee) Internet was easy to find and connect too. They also included a basket of snacks. If you have pets, they had a pet door and secure backyard. I have been in many VRBO’s this was by far the most comfortable and thoughtfully prepared home. The neighbor even took our trash to the street. Just an incredible experience. »
