Comté d'Augusta - Nos maisons d'hôte de charme

« Staying at the Berkeley was amazing. Beautiful grounds, neat to have the Frederick suite. Almost too big for 1, but I sure felt at ease and relaxed. A much needed "me time." The gelato ice cream was a plus and everything was in walking distance: especially to the Chop House for dinner. My daughter even met me there who goes to JMU. Great getaway and close enough to JMU to see and plan events around that area. Would come back in a heartbeat . »

« Wonderful stay »

« There is no staff so it’s hard to review that. However communication was clear and quick. Great room. Remodel very well done. Broken walkway was a safety hazard going up the front lawn. But If still give it an A. We stayed 5 different places in West Virginia and Virginia including the Jefferson in Richmond and this is the place I will revisit. »

« Beautiful pastoral, location, self service (no staff or registration), comfortable beds, very clean room and bathroom. Nice gathering space with coffee/tea available. We did experience quite a bit of noise from the guests (who arrived after midnight) directly above us and since we were the only two rooms (8 suites total available) I’m not sure why they had us together and not separated. Both the bathroom and closet doors did not fully close without slamming them forcefully. »

« This property is located remotely but still a good distance to Charlottesville and Scottsville which were our old stomping grounds. It is a gorgeous piece of property with perfect amenities for family time we were seeking.Great host! Had amazing time. »

« Beautiful place! Quiet, loved fishing right off the deck and from the paddleboat, kitchen equipped with all we needed. A perfect place to get away. Host communication was awesome. »
