« The kitchen was excellent, better than most of this sort of rental, well stocked with nice pots and pans and not the common couple of scratched skillets many places give you. The bathroom was spacious with a really neat shower design I really liked. The area is very quiet and gives a country feeling which i was looking for, though it's right by the airport you don't feel like you are in a flight path or anything. The bed was comfy and the couch folds into a bed so my daughter could stay on that...

« We enjoyed our stay. Murphy's Place is literally 10 - 15 minutes to every winery or brewery on the 151 trail. It was hot when we visited so having access to the pool was a bonus. It's attached to the main house, but we had very little interaction or noise from anyone bothering us while we were there. Note - if you like to read at night there are no lamps in the bedrooms so bring a booklight to make it easier. »

« A charming property right near downtown with a modern kitchen and bathroom, and comfortable beds. It was cold while we were there and we particularly loved the heater in the bathroom. The hosts are wonderful and patient. I would happily book this property again. »

« Wonderful stay with my son and his girlfriend. Easy walking distance to the Mall. No issues with parking. The owners who live upstairs were very accomodating as was the property manager Carla. I would stay here again if we ever come back to Charlottesville. »

« It was a cute apartment. My only complaints were the mattress was sliding off and sheets were knit. A mattress cover over mattress topper would help hold it on. Sofa couch is really uncomfortable for sleeping.My other complaint was there were no pans to cook with. If you plan on cooking bring your own.No kitchen towels or washcloths available for hand washing dishes either. Location was great for visiting VMI! The town is so nice to visit. Everything is in walking distance. »
