Comté d'Alleghany : Lodges

« We really enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and relaxing! The host was fabulous and responded to questions immediately! We enjoyed the restaurant and the food was excellent! »

« We have stayed multiple times at Roaring River Vineyards and it continues to be a great place to spend time relaxing by the river. The Birch Suite is clean, big enough for 2 people, and sufficient kitchen supplies if you want to cook a meal. Our favorite part is sitting outside on the covered patio enjoying the sounds of the river. Looking forward to our next return! »

« Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Such a relaxing atmosphere to be able to visit. Everything about our stay was comfortable including being able to open the bedroom windows to fall asleep to the sound of the water rolling by. We also completely took advantage of sipping boubon on the porch, cooking a steak on the grill, while the creek below us flowed. One of our most refreshing vacations, ever!! »

« Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived to the property at check-in for a family reunion weekend and to celebrate our Grandmother turning 75. Upon arrival, the AC was at 76 and the cabin felt very hot so we turned it down to 72 to cool it off at bit....

« Views on river are great! Will rent again. »

« Everything was good »

« Beautiful property. Has all the essentials already there. The ladder style steps to the loft take a little getting used to, but everything else was amazing. Clean, fairly quiet with plenty of privacy. Great shops nearby and centrally located to many interesting day trip destinations. »
