It's on the edge of the small town of Prairie du Chien, on an extremely peaceful quiet street, across an empty field from a small public school. The only environmental sounds were the birds, the occasional distant train whistle and the happy sounds of children playing at recess. My stay was made special by the host's attention to detail in setting up the home with thoughtful and beautiful details like an empty shelf/basket above the sink...
