« The house is charming and very unique but it is on a very busy street and next door to a loud bar. To start, after driving over 8 hours we were just ready to be at the house and relax. We had to sit and wait in the car for the home owner to get off work to get us the code to get in. And because it is right next to a bar and an event venue we had to park on the street a couple blocks away most days. The music and crowd at the bar was very loud up until at least 2 in the morning. « The Creole Cottage was everything I expected and then some. The home was cozy, so quiet, well equipped with snacks, soaps, dishes… The beds were very comfortable and the claw foot tub and shower were perfect. The backyard was private and welcoming. Please note that the inside fire place is gas, but you will need to bring your own firewood for the outdoor fire pit. Also, there is a kuerig plus a regular coffee pot in the kitchen. We walked from the CC to Stanton Hall, Rosalie Mansion, Natchez...
