« Mike is a great, easy-going guy. He gave us early access to the building & room. Convenient digital touchpad entry. He retained all the original woodwork, doors & windows that give the building a wonderful historic vibe. There is no better place to be centrally located for all of the downtown restaurants, shops, & historical sites. »

« This was our second time staying here. We used hotels.com to book this time and did not know we had to request breakfast. But there’s a great coffee shop just a couple blocks away, so it was not an inconvenience. We love staying at this B&B. Chris, Scooby, and the cats are great! « Amazing antiques & flowers all around mansion & carriage house. They are still working on completing the renovations which was good for us because we got to go thru all the rooms & see all the furnishings. When we arrived Expedia hadn't notified staff (Dave & Pete) that we were coming but we had made reservations within an hour-ish before. So, our room hadn't been cleaned. « My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean and nice. By sheer luck we were able to get a bathroom to ourselves which was a bonus. Chris was a welcoming and responsive host. Breakfasts were on time and delicious. The house overall had a very pleasant vibe. And we were obsessed with the cats who were very well mannered themselves and didn’t smell at all. We like to take a break from using a car if possible on vacations so downtown and most attractions being within a few blocks...

« Lily Pad #1 was impressive. The revitalization of the space was very tastefully done. It created a spark to do the same for several of the other structures in the area that just need a lift up. Some more than others, but they are ALL worth saving! The area could have so much potential! I just wish I were younger to take on some of the projects myself! I digress...Lily Pad 1 was very comfortable and the communication with the owner was great. The only thing that may be a deterrent for some is...
