« An oasis in the rainforest. Enjoyed long warm soak in most glorious outdoor bathtub, after refreshing cool dip in natural waterhole at creek. Lovely, quaint cottage with architectural flair, and well appointed, while being sustainable. Just gorgeous and central to all tourist attractions in Daintree. »

« Beautiful, definitely a 5* weekend getaway! The house itself is clean and has everything you need - full indoor kitchen plus a huge outdoor kitchen & entertaining zone. The waterfall/swimming hole was amazing - middle of winter so water was cold but didn't stop us enjoy a relaxing day. Would stay again! »

« The family loved our stay at La Vista. The views and surrounds were spectacular and the place is spotless with everything we needed. The pool table and dartboard kept us entertained in the evening after our days out.Dean was an excellent host and answered all questions promptly and had some great tips. It was our first time in the Daintree and recommend stopping off at Mossman to pick up whatever you need before your get to the property.Highly recommend a stay at La Vista if you’re heading up...

« If you're looking at this place and wondering if you should book it or not, just do it. This is hands down one of the best settings to stay in I have ever experienced. It is in the perfect location to enjoy all the Daintree has to offer and also has a beautiful view of the mountains. 10/10 and will most definitely be making the effort to return. »

« it is a lovely property in the rain forest with a gorgeous view, a beautiful semi-outdoor bathroom and cooking facilities and is perfect for a stay for a couple or a single person who want(s) to have a very comfortable nature experience. It is both ecologically low impact and immensely practical. A nice touch is the outdoor bath. I will return with hubby next time! »
