Hemmed-in Hollow is one of the beautiful waterfalls located in the Buffalo River Wilderness Area.

This towering waterfall is best accessed from the river. The trail is located between Steele Creek and Kyle's Landing, both popular camp areas and river access points along the Buffalo National River. I don't think the trail is marked, but it's not a secret and there are usually plenty of people who can guide you on where to stop. It's about a 1.5 mile trip each way with a little elevation gain...but not a difficult hike.

You can reach Hemmed-in Hollow over land, but that is a more strenuous hike.

« We stayed there two nights, and it was perfect! The nook had everything you could possibly need as far as amenities go. From the bedding, which, by the way the bed is unbelievably comfortable, I believe it’s Tempur-pedic and the pillows are as well, to the toiletries and the kitchen. Everything was very nice. « This was such a lovely place to stay - felt like home.
